1. Eligibility for Returns

Customers must return items in their original condition, unused, and with all packaging intact. Return and refund eligibility applies only to:

  • Damaged items
  • Defective items
  • Incorrectly fulfilled orders

2. Return Window

  • International customers: must initiate a return request within 5 days of receiving the product.
  • Local customers: must initiate a return request within 2 days of delivery.

3. Refund Process

  • 3.1 Refunds will be issued only after the returned item has been inspected and approved.
  • 3.2 Refunds may be provided as store credit, a replacement item, or a monetary refund—depending on the circumstances and this policy.

4. Initiating a Return

To initiate a return:

  • From your account: Log into your account on our website or app.
  • Go to Order History, select the order you wish to return, choose the item, and click "Return or Replace Items". Then click "Request Return" and fill out the provided form.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Perishable goods
  • Opened beauty or personal care products
  • Underwear and intimate items
  • Digital goods
  • Personalized or customized products
  • Redeemable products (e.g., vouchers, digital credits)
  • Products posing health or safety risks once opened
  • Items with shipping restrictions once sold

6. Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item caused by Post Gebeya.

7. Delays

  • 7.1 If your order is delayed beyond the expected delivery date, please contact Customer Support with your order number and tracking details.
  • 7.2 If the delay is caused by Post Gebeya, we may extend the delivery time-frame or help reschedule delivery based on your convenience.
  • 7.3 If the delay exceeds 30 days or causes significant inconvenience, Post Gebeya will issue a full refund including transportation costs.
  • 7.4 If the delay is due to force majeure (events beyond our control), Post Gebeya will not be liable for refund or return.

8. Damaged Shipments

  • 8.1 If your order arrives damaged, notify us within:
    • 48 hours for international customers
    • 24 hours for domestic customers
    Once verified, Ethiopost will offer a replacement or refund depending on availability and customer preference.
  • 8.2 If a replacement is in stock, it will be shipped using the original delivery method. If not, a refund or store credit will be issued.
  • 8.3 For damage caused by force majeure, Post Gebeya will not be liable for refund or return.

9. Lost Items

  • 9.1 If Post Gebeya confirms that a package is lost, we will offer a full refund or replacement.
  • 9.2 If goods are lost due to force majeure, Post Gebeya is not obligated to refund or replace them.

10. Processing Time

  • International Refunds: 3–5 business days after approval.
  • Domestic Refunds: 2–3 business days after approval.
  • Inspection Time: 2–3 days for both domestic and international returns once we receive the item.

11. Exchanges

Post Gebeya may allow item exchanges provided the customer pays any price differences and initiates the exchange within the time-frame stated in this policy. Shipping fees will apply.

12. Payment Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is unavailable, refunds may be issued as store credit.
